This was a fun record to make. I got in touch with my old friend David Veslocki from West Hartford (who I’ve known since the 4th grade) and it turns out after all these years, he’s still playing the guitar. Dave plays like Jimi Hendrix with a masters from Yale in guitar.

Anyway, I got him in the studio and it was a blast… with all the guitar on this record it had a very American vibe to it, so I decided to roll with it and write about, well, the American Dream.

I guess the timing is pretty good with the election coming up and all, and I am very proud to be an American regardless of how the rest of the world may view us. Who knows, maybe this will get a little American pride pumpin’ through our veins again and encourage some patriotism.
